For three generations, the main occupation of our family is trading fresh fish. Our grandfather and father opened the first fish market on the island and always supplying the freshest fish from our local fishermen.
Being the third generation, we decided to keep the fish shop of our family and create «Lalas» salted fish industry. We keep continuously choosing the moest fresh raw material from our island, not only to support the local economy, but also because the fish in our seas have a different taste.
The process of making salted fishes is mady by the traditional way and the maturation of fish is in all natural, without using inapropriate ingredients.
After cleaning them we package the products in a hand made way, but we always respect all hygiene requirements as recommended by our experts who each year they check and confirm us.
In other words our salted mackerel, anchovy the Argentines, a variety which exists only in our water, the marinated mackerel and marinated octopus made with vinegar, were flavors that until recently only we were tasting, but we believe that everyone deserves to have a try and taste.
